Game DS9 Episode Pitch Game

"Privacy" – A look at what the DS9 crew do in their off-hours – from their hobbies to their sleeping habits to their favorite junk food to consume. And during this episode, Jake gets the sense that the station’s inhabitants are being watched by a voyeuristic group of Betazoids that are visiting the station.

“Nog and Stratford’s Baby”: While assisting in recovery of scrap metals from an obliterated recently evacuated Federation colony, Nog discovers an abandoned infant that seems to take a shine to him. After a DNA test, she is identified as the child of a single mother that went missing shortly before the evacuation and is still lost. While Odo and Kira attempt to locate the child's mother, Nog tries his hand at babysitting, Ferengi style...and quickly finds out that profit takes a backseat to nuturing.

The crew of DS9 are stunned to see a planet killer identical to the one Kirk's Enterprise faced coming in from deep space on a direct course for Bejor. After researching the logs of Kirk's battle with the planet killer, O'Brien is able to rig up a remote controlled ship to fly into the maw of the planet killer and detonate with a 97 megaton explosion. The ship flies to the planet killer's maw, gets pulled in by the PK's tractor beam, and explodes! To no avail. There is no effect this time on the planet killer, and it continues its advance to Bejor. Can the crew of DS9 find another way to stop the planet killer before Bejor is destroyed? Meanwhile, Bejoran priests study ancient scrolls...

"Season of the Witch" - Kira and Odo are forced to land on a planet of primitive peoples after surviving and escaping a Dominion strafing attack when they happen upon a scout ship by chance. A member of the community sees Odo shape-shifting from resembling the people on the planet to melting into a hole in lieu of his bucket, and seizes him for performing witchcraft. Kira, who can't change her appearance enough to look like them, tries to find a way to call for help, only to be befriended by an outcast woman who is the only one that can save Odo. Meanwhile, Bashir, despite his brains, is puzzled by a magic trick Garak shows him, and becomes obsessed with figuring out how it was done.

"The Soul of Wit" - An old Altonian brain teaser and a Wadi game fuse together in a transport accident. Upon realizing that the fused games still function, O’Brien and Ezri plug the game into the holosuite to learn more. However, the fused game manages to take control of the station’s major systems. And won’t relinquish control until the inhabitants complete the game, which does not want answers that are long, rambling or boring. The inhabitants of DS9, led by O’Brien and Ezri, must rely on their clever and humorous wit to retake the station.

“Ichabods”: Panic ensues when the wormhole closes suddenly, trapping many ships in the corridor, including the Defiant, crewed by Worf, Sisko, and Kira, at a time they're badly needed (some Bajoran holiday). Meanwhile, while investigating a break-in at Quark's on the downlow, as the stolen item was something Quark was not supposed to have, Nog and Jake (who's trying to take his mind off of his dad's absence) notice the thief in question appears to have no head (and there are no aliens aboard the station who look like that)

"The Handfasting"

During a negotiation with a Gamma Quadrant race, MIles accidentally insults the monarch. As a punishment, he has to marry someone picked by the monarch's eldest child. The child has taken a liking to Bashir and wants to see him marry Miles, temporarily as part of their holy festival. They have to live together, accompany each other at work, etc, for a week.

Cyclops

On a barren moon world, the crew finds a craft of alien design, with comparatively low technology (mid-22nd century or so). On board, they find a robotic creature that, once back on the station O'brien nurses back to health. One of the most distinctive features is a single roving red light where the eyes would normally be, and for that reason, nickname the creature 'cyclops'. Tension ensues when the crew discusses what to do with him when it turns out the creature isn't exactly well-disposed towards humans and keeps mentioning (with its strangely monotone voice) an 'imperious leader' (*) he should inform about 'the location of the humans'.

(Or perhaps, "impervious or imperial leader", should NBC decide to become a nuisance)

"The Error Of The Prophets" - A Bajoran widow, Pros Neana, seeks refuge with her daughter, Pros Calenne, in Sisko's office, asking the Federation for sanctuary. Her child is the first born in centuries with a rare medical condition that at the time had been thought to be culled from the gene pool. Her powerful father, Bavis Gendo, wishes to subject them to the i'marja'dosh, a cruel ancient ritual death prescribed in the past for such aberrations, and fights to have them returned to him for that purpose. Bashir believes he can help Calenne live a mostly normal life with medicine and technological supports, and deeply admires the courageous Neana. Can he convince the people that Calenne and her mother are not errors to be erased?

Narrow Is The Way

Odo takes on the responsibility of trying to acclimate a different type of shape shifter, to life among humanoids, after they find her adrift in a strange small vessel. She was cast out from her kind for misuse of her shifting ability, which when not in use leaves her in a gaseous form (unlike Odo's liquid form)

She has difficulty understanding why taking forms would be necessary, and Odo explains that's its use is to better coexist with others, but he soon begins to understand her plight that left her abandoned by her kind

"Over A Barrel" - Dr. Bashir intervenes when a mentally unstable Bajoran man, Nodsyk Jier threatens to shoot up the Promenade, diagnosing him with a treatable psychological condition caused by long-term exposure to mining ore. Over time, they become friends and Bashir promises to get him into a study testing an experimental cure. Later, the doctor is put in quite a quandary when Nodsyk, revealing a different kind of madness, takes the staff of the infirmary hostage, saying he will kill one person every ten minutes unless Dukat surrenders himself to death at Nodsyk's hand. One problem...Dukat is absent. Can Garak play the part instead? Meanwhile, Quark is going nuts trying to find a missing barrel of an exclusive Romulan ale vintage he saved for a special occasion years ago, and could have disappeared at any time between now and then.

“Tin Gods”

While exploring the Gamma Quadrant, Sisko, O’Brien, Bashir, and Dax discover a planet where the inhabitants worship benevolent robots.
When Dax tries to restore the balance, (a.k.a. Kirk in The Apple) the robots turn hostile toward the interlopers. Sisko must get his crew out alive.
Meanwhile on the station nothing much is going on until a ship docks with a crew from the Gamma Quadrant

”The Next Steps” - Following their liberation, Bajor has yet to re-establish friendly relations with a longstanding pre-occupation ally, the Memrusites. Many Bajorans have resented them for not coming to their aid when the Cardassians took over, but the Memrusites feared being drawn into the fight and adopted a neutral position, aiding neither side. Now, the Memrusites ask for a conference to discuss their position and air Bajoran grievances in advance of a trade agreement, and wish the Federation to act as a neutral mediator. Among their representatives is a friend of Kira, Tayso Omalie, who chose to leave Bajor to seek refuge on Memrus just before the war rather than fight alongside her. But she had her reasons, and they'll have to hash their disagreement out.

"We'll Rant and We'll Roar along the Subspace Seas" - Jadzia, Worf, Bashir, and O'Brien are taking the Defiant to deliver medical supplies to a Trill colony. Their shortcut through a stormy nebula has them encounter a group of Tebingian ex-pirates who are partaking in a re-enactment of their glory days. Unfortunately, their ship is unlivable, so the Defiant takes them on and agrees to let the reenactment proceed on their way to the other side of the nebula. Meanwhile, Kira is dealing with a bout of insomnia and hangs out in Vic's lounge.

When Julian and Miles take a runabout to a planet and crash due to a planetary storm. Dax and Sisko set out to rescue them, but also crash-land quite a distance from the first landing party.

"Temba, his arms wide!" - A Tamarian delegation comes bearing a gift for the people of Bajor; a lost ancient tapestry, found centuries ago on their homeworld and only recently identified as Bajoran. The mystery of how it disappeared and reappeared may have sinister origins...and there may be a reason why Kai Winn wants to refuse it, placing Sisko in the middle. Meanwhile, Kira and Jadzia work together to translate the imagery on the tapestry and unlock the secrets within.

Quark is challenged to an ancient Ferengi duel from an old rival. This ancient challenge requires the participants to fight until one can draw blood with their teeth. When Quark refuses this barbaric ritual, Worf convinces Quark to go ahead until Worf discovers Quarks rival intends to make the battle to the death.
Meanwhile, Kira and Dax investigate the source of their rivalry.

A trill comes to deep space nine wishing to talk to Ezri Dax, claiming to be a time displaced host of the Dax symbiote from a century in the future. Meanwhile Garek and Jake spend time together debating the ethics of propaganda, and the effect journalism can have on a population.
