This week's episode is The Wire from season 2. The theme is Red-shirts (I think that one is pretty self-explanatory but in case it's not, I can elaborate), and the random theme is Special powers.


Everyone, pay attention now!

There will also be a special category this week. The category is Don't make me go all Sisko on your ass! You are free to interpret it any way you want, but there is one rule; the avatar has to be animated. PKTrekGirl asked for this category and she plans to use this avatar. So if you have a problem with that, don't enter it. That's it, have fun!


The theme must be DS9 related, while the random theme can be from just anything. The avatars have to conform to board rules: Up to 120x120 px, 20 kb for jpg and 60 kb for gif.

You've got until Friday 8pm CET to enter your avatars. Have fun and congrats again to the winners!

Alright, I've got a couple of entries.

First up, for 'The Wire', I'm goin' with this shot -

- because it has Garak in the light, no shadow, no way to hide, with Odo lookin' him over, while stayin' in the shadows himself. I like it.

For the "Redshirt" theme, I'm goin' with Tom Riker from 'Defiant' -

I don't have my random theme (I'm thinkin' John Wesley Shipp as The Flash), but I do have frames for PKTrekGirl's special request to send to JiNX for animation.

Alright, Photobucket seems to be havin' issues right now, so I've loaded up my entry for PKTrekGirl's special contest to the TrekBBS server & will wear it for a bit, 'til I can get it added to my account.

Oh GREAT! These are all excellent! I think I like the second one best, but they are all good.

Is it possible to get the text in them, somehow? Maybe not on the pictures, but in a separate frame or something?

Also, in number two does he actually shoot in the next frame?

^ Glad that you like'em! I've redone the second one. I hope you like it more. No, he doesn't shoot in the next frame. That's kind of the point of the scene actually. It's from the end of "Rocks And Shoals".

Its Hiro, not Hero, and ya should use it instead of Elle, since she turned out to be such a nothin' character.

^ Yeah I know it's Hiro, that was just a typo. Oops. And while I like Elle (and I'm a huge fan of Kristen), do think I'll go with Hiro vs. the T-rex.

I'll try to get my entries in before the deadline tomorrow but since I have once again started a new job (at a different company this time) and is in training at the moment I might not have the time. I passed the test today that made me a licenced insurance advisor, btw.

I'm really excited about this job, it's a lot of fun and you get to help people.
