I'm sorry I had to remove your avatar for the random category @Orac , but our advertisers might take issue with it and this is definitely something we want to avoid. Please see this post from T'Bonz for full details. Essentially this image fits the criteria of being borderline, so when in doubt we have to assume it will be deemed objectionable by Google.

For what it's worth I didn't like having to remove the image, but I think it's in all our best interests not to risk losing the support of our advertiser. It's what keeps this community running.
