Indeed. In fact I was going to enter something very similar but alas photobucket is about as useful as a HemQuch in the Obsidian order.

I've tried it but as you can see the image is too small. I'll wait until photo bucket gets its act together, so I'll sit this one out.
You are using Photobucket to resize photos? Why don't you use Photoshop?

Tinypic shouldn't have done that...mine always come out exactly the size I want.
If you need a better program to MAKE your avatars in, download Paint.NET from www.getpaint.net. You'll have to download both the program "Paint.NET" and the "Microsoft .NET" program that it runs on. It's kind of like Photoshop, but much more user-friendly if all you need is simpler functions like this.

I loved the O'Briens- I don't think they fought a lot in general, and when they did, it often involved serious issues: equality of a kind, xenophobia... but the thing is- they were willing to work through it, and their love went beyond it all.
Now- there was something about the entry period? And something about a poll...?
I definitely think the period should not be shorter than a week- a lot of people are busy, and need the weekends and whatnot. I know if it was a week or less, I'd get to enter even less than I do now, and there are often people who forget... and the stragglers... lol.
Now, we'd need some poll options- perhaps 1 week, 2 weeks... and I wonder if we could work in an option that would include a full week, and some extra week-end days, and have the polling period for, say, 3 days during the week? Like- Sat-week- til Tues or Wed, then vote til friday or something like that? That may mess with my brain though.

Paint.NET is also free. And more user-friendly than GIMP.

I agree! I'd have trouble entering avatars too.
I suggest 10 days to enter and three days of voting.
We tried that once before but whenever there was a tie the tie poll kept taking away days from the next entry period.
Then the logical thing to do was to kill ties...
I like the 10 day entry, 3 day voting idea. Anyone else want to weigh in?

Yep.
He was the antagonist in the Jadzia story in The Lives of Dax anthology, in the Divided We Fall TNG/DS9 four-part comic, and I'm pretty sure he was used for the Trill story in Worlds of DS9, Volume Two.
Just seems like whenever Jadzia or Ezri need a villian to go up against, its Verad.

She's brought back in the DS9 Relaunch novels, in case ya didn't know (Rising Son & Unity, both by S.D. Perry).
