Wow, that's outa left field. I'm not too familiar with this band, except to say that like what I heard. I thought their music sounded intense and itneresting with some awesome time changes. I'm a big Rush/ DT kinda person so that is no small compliment to AS.

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan, but I really fell in love with a few of their songs via Rock band and Guitar Hero: "Almost Easy", "Beast and the Harlot", "Bat Country" and "Afterlife"; and I've liked almost everything else I've heard of them... not knowing how important The Rev was creatively to the group dynamic, I hope that this doesn't spell the end of the band.

My thoughts and prayers go to Sullivan's bandmates, friends, and family.

The guy was an excellent drummer. A7X is a little emo for me, but like you said, everything in Rock Band/Guitar Hero by them rocked, and they were some of my favorite songs to play. He was only a couple of months older than me. Just sad all around.

Yeah, I heard about this earlier. Dude was a gnarly drummer, one of those guys who could pump out double bass hits for an hour straight as a warmup.

I read about this earlier, very sad to hear. I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fan of them, but I do have a few songs and they all rock.

My thoughts are with his friends and family

Man. My brother was playing me some clips from this band the other night, and I liked what I heard. Like the OP, I'm a Rush/Dream Theater guy too. That sucks. Dead at 28!
