Drinks with...

Aagin this post would probably be better in the General catagory, but what the heck. If you could have a drink (It must have been on a Trek show or Film) what would it be, and who would it be with.

Since, I like a good glass of wine, my choice would either be a nice Bajorian Spring Wine with a vintage date of 2351, or it could be a Klingon Blood Wine from 2309 that is considered the best year of vintage according to Worf. I would like to share it with either The BORG Queen or Kai Winn...JUST KIDDING, it would probably be Maj Kira, she REALLY needs to loosen up a bit.

This post really doesn't have anything to do with Voyager, so I'll ship this one over to Gen Trek.

We're pretty lax on what flies in the Voyager forum 2 of 10, but a thread needs some relation to the show to stick around. If you've got a topic that you think belongs in General Trek don't be afraid to post it there. That forums a bit busier then VOY, so you will probably get a few more responses too. :)

I've been curious of Klingon bloodwine myself; depending if it is made with actual blood or not would determine how often I would indulge....

Akillaprise,

Makes total sence to me, my post really did not belong in the Voyager BBS. In the future I will contain my post to the approiate BBS...

Thanks

Romulan Ale of course, and in huge permanently blinding quantities. And with any poor sod stupid enough to drink it with me.

I would drink Romulan Ale because it is blue. There are not enough blue drinks.

But I have a feeling I'd need to mix it with lemonade or something...

Hmm...I think I'd have to go the opposite route from alcohol and see what raktajino was like. Maybe iced, maybe even in a Frappucino-like state. Something tells me that would be really good.

(Hey, it would be the 24th century, so they could give me something REALLY good against the reflux this would provoke, and I'm sure anything Klingon is going to have a hell of a kick to it. IRL I must abstain from coffee.)

Anyway, Kira would definitely be a great choice...as would her "godfather" Tekeny Ghemor, if there were some way to get hold of him while he was still in reasonably good health. Man, the stories those guys could tell...

Saurian Brandy with Scotty in 24th Century. Jimmy Doohan could spin a tall tale or two (I miss him!) and I could listen well into the night to the stories Scotty could tell!

P.S.- Glad it was moved. I almost never go into Voyager and would have missed it.

I'm not a drinker. I don't do coffee, either. So maybe root beer or Earl Grey, (hot). It really would be the company for me, so I think it would be Bashier or McCoy. Both guys who I think would be fun to hang around with. McCoy would have a tremendous wisdom that I could gain great insight from.
Also, Jadzia would be a lot of fun to hang with.
Becuase of my medications, I'm not allowed alcohol, but assuming Bashier or McCoy could cure all my needs for meds, I would still try some blood wine, and Chateau Picard. I am also really curious about canar. I like a good, thick syrupy drink.

Maybe not Saurian Brandy-just a good Scotch with the great Mister Scott.

I can get a good Scotch... but I can't talk with Jimmy any more. Besides, it's MY fantasy drink... so... yeah... nya, nya!:rommie:
Like sbk1234 said, it is really more about the company than the drink.

I would like to try Romulan ale, and I just want to hang out with Data. And then talk him into bed. Yeeeeah.

Ha, you and me both--would be nice if we could be cured of our various ailments! ;)

(Though in my case, I must say that although I complain a bit, I am a very fortunate person and really have little to complain about beyond missing out on certain foods.)

As for kanar--I dunno. For some way, I always imagined it tasting the way a Guinness smells. Except with the consistency of maple syrup. I may love the Cardassians, but I'm not sure I could take THAT!

Diabetics?

"Hi, my name is Sector 7 and I'm a diabetic." :vulcan:
