Dreams

Anyone here ever had dreams involving Doctor Who?

I had one recently: Michael Jackson vs. the Sontarans. The Sontarans were the good guys. (Dream Michael Jackson is even creepier than real Michael Jackson.)

What about you guys?

Yes, I've had several. But it was mostly really weird which didn't make much sense.
Once I dreamt of the Doctor landing in what was supposed to be (futuristic) Nuremberg, although it didn't look like it at all. And only a few weeks later a bit of the final episodes of series 4 took place in a forest near Nuremberg. That was weird.
My theory is that a lof of the new series stories originated as dreams due to their weirdness.

cant think of any Doctor Who drams ive had recently, and dont recall ones ive had in the past.

A couple years ago, I had a dream where I was Christopher Eccleston and I was filming an episode of Doctor Who. Most of it was a conversation I had with Penelope Lively while we were cooking lunch together, about our characters' motivations. There was a bit of a continuity error, though, as she talked about the deposing of her character.

I had the first and only last night. Martha was secretly meeting the Doctor, I was there and got distracted by a room full of toys and games. The military broke in and chased me through Marthas house, through a secret door into a shopping mall...

From there I had some sexy time with Martha, Marcus from Big Brother got jealous and huffy, so I tripped him up. Then I threw a dead mouse at Davina McCall.

The dream went on a bit of a tangent from there...

I did have a Doctor Who dream about a year ago.

The Daleks had invaded the Earth. It was quite vivid and quite exciting. A few of my friends died. I survived, saved my fiancée several others and some hottie. Even in my dream my fiancée wasn't impressed, despite my heroics. When I told her about it, I left out the other woman. Had to.

Kind of.

In the dream I was attending an eccentric talent show at a bar in the seedier part of town. A friend had told me that you could see some pretty strange things there. The only act I remember is that this old man walked onto the stage -- he looked like a cross between Doctor Emmet Brown from "Back to the Future" and the First Doctor. He was carrying a large gun-like object about as tall as he was. He started cocking a barrel of the gun, but when he did so it produced an electric sound. He paused, then started it again and it was playing music. I realized that his contraption was playing The Doctor Who theme song! It wasn't a direct memory-rip from the TV show; it was distinct and flawed.

Sometimes you just know something in a dream. I knew that the guy had made this machine himself, which impressed me despite the fact the tempo was a little bit slower. Before he finished the song, though, the gun shorted out in an electric fizzle, and the guy looked embarrassed, and walked off stage.

A few years back I had a dream that Tennant and Eccleston were both on the tardis, 10 on the main deck, and 9 above him, they were talking and modifying the tardis, but they only had one sonic screwdriver and kept throwing it back and forth between them.

I've had a recurring dream for a few years where I'm running away from Daleks, through never ending back alleys and winding streets in Swansea. It's usually me and a few schoolfriends who I haven't seen for years, and we're trying to find the TARDIS because we know The Doctor will save us, but we usually end up finding a string of normal police boxes and getting captured by the pepper pots. Then I wake up.

I think I've had this dream about 4 times since 2005. The Doctor himself never makes an appearance, sadly.

I've had some dreams about Doctor Who but I can't really recall any specifics right now.

My surreal TV dreams are always LOST related. I've posted a couple of them in the forum but that was ages ago...

Back when I watched the 7th Doctor serials on local PBS, I dreamed that the 7th Doctor regenerated...into ME! I remember thinking in the context of the dream that it was weird that the Doctor regenerated into an American this time...that was a nice dream, though... :)

When I was a kid I dreamed often that I was hiding from the Daleks in my dad's garage. It was full of great places to hide, and if I was very still they'd miss me. Majorly scary dreams at the time, by the way.
