Oh man, I hated the Dr Strange cartoon. I think that's my least favorite animated comic book movie. I can't even remember why anymore.

I thought that the Doctor Strange animated movie was ok. Definitely better than that mediocre Invincible Iron Man film, but not nearly as good as the Hulk vs. or Planet Hulk films (which were the same quality as the very good DC direct to DVD animated movies). It sucks that Marvel has basically decided that all animated efforst will be directed ar around the 7-10 year old level, those two Hulk movies I mentioned were a sign Marvel was going in the right direction (then they made a lot of mediocre anime, but that's a different story).

I think its a good intro to the character for people who did not read the comicbooks

I have no clue whatsoever about the source material here, so I can't weigh in on details like the originstory being done correct or if the costume is done properly. All I know is, this looks pretty good.
