I personally wouldn't mind too much if this Strange had a British accent, as having an American accent isn't an integral part of his character. But you know there will be people that will go "But Dr. Strange isn't British!!!!"

Yeah, I'm waiting for something more official before I consider it official. Although there's a big Marvel thing tomorrow, so it might be announced then.

Either way, perhaps the thread should be about Dr. Strange as a whole rather than Benedict Cumberbatch?

I don't have any experience with the character in the comics, so, can't speak to ability to act out the personality, but, someone once mentioned Nathan Stark played by Ed Quinn on Eureka, and looks wise, he would be perfect, IMHO
