I'm glad they didn't. The only Worf romances that really worked for me were with K'Ehleyr and Jadzia.
I felt the latter didn't work at all because the actors had no chemistry together.

Back on-topic, I've had a chance to think about Worf and Selar. I now kind of like the possibility of a romance between such opposites. After all, they hinted of a romance -- or at least, a deep friendship -- between Worf and Pulaski. So why not a Klingon and a Vulcan? A child of such a union would have more issues than Time magazine!
Also, back off-topic, has it ever been established that Vulcans are incapable of having sex except during pon farr? Perhaps a Vulcan married to a Klingon could have sex, as it's "logical" to engage in physical contact with one's mate to bring harmony to the marriage even when not in the mating season.
As for poor Geordi, imagine him being fixated on a Vulcan like Selar! Talk about striking out!

T'Pol wasn't in pon farr when she jumped Trip in "Harbinger".Also, back off-topic, has it ever been established that Vulcans are incapable of having sex except during pon farr?
