Absolutely.
While there was a decent amount of character growth, still, he was so well-developed and complex that many of us were left wanting more--a
lot more.
Personally, I would've loved more James Bond programs--particularly in Season 7, with Ezri Dax taking part....
I'm torn between my desire to see Ezri in a nice dress and my deep loathing of that (bleh) pairing.
I think Julian is an amazing character, ultimately, and one who is interesting to watch with the whole show in perspective. There's a sense that even WITH the genetic secret, he still has a wide-eyed idealism about what he can do for people out on the frontier, but as the series goes on, he becomes more jaded and cynical, though he never loses the spark that makes him who he is. To be honest, I thought he was an annoying little tosser when the show was still new. He really grew into a great character though, someone who I cheered for and liked; though it wasn't overnight, and I stopped at some point (probably in season 3 or 4 somewhere) and wondered, "When the hell did that happen?"
