Double Helix

The last one is fine. I thought it was the best of the bunch, actually; light but nifty.

I just started re-reading the series after running out of things to read. I like all 6 books in the series for different reasons, although my 3 personal favorites are The First Virtue, Vectors, and Quarantine, primarily because I love the DS9 and Voyager crews, and because TFV (which, incidentally, I decided to read first) has a really interesting cast of charaters (and makes me really want to read the Stargazer books, although I don't know where I can get my hands on them).

you know 'The First Virtue' was the only one i didn't read. for some reason i could never find it. i thought 'Infection' was alright, nothing great but not terrible. 'Double or Nothing' IMO was the best. the others were entertaining, its just that none of them really stood out.

wish i hadn't sold them now. you guys are making me want to go back, re-read them and find 'The First Virtue'.

I liked the idea of seeing familiar faces at different points in their careers, but the execution left something to be desired, imho.

I tend to remember the Star Trek novels I really like and the ones I really dislike and forget the ones that range from not great to not bad. I remember two of the Double Helix books, but definitely not because I really liked them.

Well I remember two because I really liked them - Double or Nothing, and Pulaski on Terok Nor which was fantastic. Cannot remember anything about the first or last ones.

Just starting to re-read Vectors (the Pulaski on Terok Nor novel), and had a question: are there any connections and/or contradictions to/with Vectors in the Terok Nor trilogy?

^One of the Bajoran characters from Vectors gets a shout-out in the last Terok Nor book right at the end. Check out the appendix for Bajoran characters.

There, 4 done. Gotta say that wasn't a great read, but I am looking forward to 5 and 6. I think I'll side track for a bit and come back. I'm not sure I can OD on ST books, but I can definitely OD on Double Helix
