Your exterior is accurate to the set / model and the interior is accurate to the set, right? So were you planning on doing some TARDIS transition from the one model to the other? I bet there is some Doctor Who modeler someplace who has solved that one.
If I was going to change one or the other I'd make the inside smaller and leave the (much more aesthetically pleasing) exterior alone. I've heard it talked about often but never seen it actually done. But that's just me.Yes, both are accurate to form and scale to their respective sets, with the exception of the aft compartment, which was shortened by a few feet. If I scale the exterior model up 136%, the interior fits in quite nicely with a few caveats that can be solved by some programming trickery. I will revisit this issue when I get around the building the hangar deck at a later date. However, I'll also need to be sure that this 136% scaled shuttlecraft can then fit inside the hangar deck and shuttlecraft maintennance bay.
If worse comes to worse, and the larger exterior just doesn't work, I'll have it to where the player is magically transported inside via fade in/out to black when opening the hatch doors.
I made the compartment above the commode and hand-sink (The "Emergency Equipment Locker") for medical equipment, emergency beacon, etc. and I was also planning on throwing a few more tricorders in there as well at some point. I'll be creating models for a medical pouch and other supplies at a later date. This is just me, but for a seven-passenger shuttlecraft, it makes sense for a larger field equipment drawer for more tricorders. On maybe two drawers instead of one. (And maybe the second drawer could make room for Nurse Chapel's "emergency surgical kit" from "The Paradise Syndrome".)
The phaser storage compartment, open. Note the atmospheric controls:
The field equipment compartment open. This is pure conjecture, but I thought it would be nice to have a compartment with communicators and tricorders inside. (I have yet to model a stowed version of the tricorder strap!). We do see a closed storage compartment on this side of the interior in "Metamorphosis" that was not present in "The Galileo Seven", but it was probably just the same wall containing the phaser compartment relocated to the other side.
The starboard side of the aft compartment, with a bit of cargo storage space
The port side of the aft compartment, with plenty of storage compartments and the stowable commode open and ready for use:
The stowable hand-sink in open position:
And the aft maintenance hatch, which I've now added to the shuttlecraft exterior, based on it's appearance in "Metamorphosis". Note the IBM SMS cards
And here is a video showcasing everything in motion and interactive glory:
Next project: The long awaited ENGINEERING!

Something like this could work as well:If worse comes to worse, and the larger exterior just doesn't work, I'll have it to where the player is magically transported inside via fade in/out to black when opening the hatch doors.
I am sorry if this was said before but on your Phaser Locker you have Phaser power packs on both sides of the Phasers.
On the show they had P1's on the left side and power packs on the right side.
