Domino's Pizza changed it's recipe

I don't eat chain pizza. Gross.

I live in North Jersey, there's small pizza joint every other block. And when I go into NYC, the places I eat pizza don't have websites. Hell, one of them doesn't even have doors.

Pizza is eaten folded in half while standing up.

Also, the only cold pizza I will eat is from Pizza King. Can you tell I love Pizza King? I wish we had it up here. :(

I had Domino's two days ago, and I honestly didn't notice any difference. My wife said that it seemed a little spicier. I add peppers to mine, so there was no way I was going to detect additional spice in the pizza itself.

I haven't had Domino's Pizza since college. My roommates would frequently order it because it was cheap and it was right down the street.

Yeah, same here. Haven't touched it in years. It just tastes weird.

I prefer Papa John's by miles. Sure, it may not be "authentic", but it's the best of the chains. I really like their crusts.

The only problem with Papa John's is that they don't offer a Small size pizza. I can't eat a Medium all by myself, and I hate leftover pizza.
Wow. I eat a large pizza and a full order of wings in one sitting!

Papa John's does a great discounted flat-rate deal on pizzas, regardless of size, if you go collect rather than get it delivered (at least, my local one does). Since mine is just 5 minutes drive away, this works out great for me and I usually order an XL. And can get through almost 3/4 of it just by myself if I haven't had anything else that day.

What's this? Someone sells tubs of butter with their pizza?

What a world!

It's garlic sauce. You use it for dipping the leftover crust!

And. It's. Awesome. I always ask for an extra tub. :D

Well, Austin's pretty militant about the "shop local first" thing, and I have had pizza from a couple of chains here. But I grew up with national chains, like Pizza Hut and Dominos, so that's what I'm used to. And it's what I prefer. :D

Pizza Hut (excuse me The Hut) is pretty good, at least around here. Their's is the only thin crust pizza that I'll eat.

Seriously. People are snobs about the weirdest things!

Tell me about it.

Last few responses I got (in summary):
Cold breakfast pizza...wah wah wah...if you don't eat it you're a sissy girly-man...wah wah wah...cold, rancid rotten crap is better than real breakfast food like pancakes and waffles and eggs and cereal...wah wah wah...take your food poisoning like a man...wah wah wah...

To be fair, you could recognize that people are just having a little fun (albeit at your expense) and all around everyone is wearing a smile.

Now THAT's funny. Funniest thing I've heard all week, in fact. I would recognize it, actually...if it were true.

To be fair? How about fair to people who don't like eating rancid leftovers? (Actually, to *be* fair, I rarely eat breakfast of any kind. Don't get up early enough. But on the occasion that I do, you can be sure it ain't gonna be old expired pizza that isn't even HOT.)

Pizza fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gets under table armed with a plethora of garlic butter grenades

Too bad it's already 1 PM. Otherwise I could have breakfast. Which would NOT involve disgusting cold rotten slime that once was a pizza.

And next time I do find myself with leftover pizza, I'm going to HEAT IT THE FUCK UP. Hear that? It's going to be HOT and COOKED and SAFE and TASTY and not eaten for fucking BREAKFAST.

I worked at Pizza Hut in college. It wasn't bad when I could eat it for free, but I don't think I could ever actually pay for it. Dominos is just gross. I haven't had it in years, and hope to go more years before I have it again.
We have a few local chains in Denver that are pretty good. Beau Jo's, Black Jack and Pudge Brothers are my favorites. We just have so few single-owner pizza restaurants here.
I have agree with everyone that says New York style pizza is the best. I prefer a nice thin crust.
