Dominion War

Which book(s) cover this?

I'm almost finished reading the Destiny trilogy and I keep seeing mention of the Dominion War, so I was curious which books I'd have to pick up to get the full story on that reference.

By the way, to those who recommended me the Destiny trilogy, thank you. I've enjoyed it immensely and it's gotten me interested in reading more of the books. :techman:

The Dominion War was mainly fought on television, beginning in the fifth-season finale of Deep Space Nine and continuing through the end of that series. If you're looking for books dealing with it, the Tales of the Dominion War anthology is the obvious choice. TNG: The Battle of Betazed also deals with it. There's a TNG duology called The Dominion War by John Vornholt, but it's not consistent with the main book continuity. There are various other books that deal with it peripherally, and I'm sure folks will come along to list them soon.

The SCE story War Stories (I think that was the name of it) was excellent.
The DS9 book Hollow Men fits into the war's events. OP brings up a reallly good point. I kinda wish there were more stories from the Dominion War.

There's also the Deep Space Nine half of that miniseries, of course: Call to Arms... and ...Sacrifice of Angels, which novelize the DS9 episodes "A Call to Arms", "A Time to Stand", "Rocks and Shoals", "Sons and Daughters", "Behind the Lines", "Favor the Bold", and "Sacrifice of Angels".

I also had hoped for a few more stories on the war but The Dominion War set was good, even though we saw the DS9 part of it the books went a little more into it, Sisko's friend Capt. Charlie Reynolds of the Centaur had more to do than just be chased off by Sisko in his borrowed Jem'Hadar ship.

The TNG side of it was interresting as well, the POW thing was something a little different for Trek.
