Dominion Any Good?

I've been thinking about starting a new tv series, and I read about a show called Dominion in which Gabriel and the lower castes of angels have decided to wage war on humanity after God has gone missing.

Does anyone who's watched more than a few episodes have any opinions to share on the show, and whether or not its worth giving it a go?

I'm a big fan of Supernatural and tend to like this genre for the most part, but I'd rather not go through the effort of collecting the episodes only to find out its a stinker.

Legion, the movie it's based on, isn't bad.

I haven't been able to make it through a single episode of the series personally though. That doesn't mean you wouldn't like it though.

I'm a fan of Supernatural, too, but this show is lousy. I liked the Legion movie to which this show is a sequel but the series itself stinks.

The first few episodes of season one aren't that bad, promising even. However, by the end of the first season, the series devolves into poor melodrama and the characters become quite unlikable. The lead lacks enough charisma to carry his role on the show and even Giles from Buffy looks uncomfortable delivering the lines his character is given.

I soldiered through the first season til the end, but I gave up on continuing further.

I liked the first season even though it only had eight eps. The second season has already started but I haven't been able to see it yet.

Shitty beginning, but then it became about politics, everyone trying to outcountermaneuver every other bugger but falling short to a smarter bastard, and it got a little better.

I really enjoy Dominion. They've created a pretty interesting post apocalyptic world. I don't really have a problem with the characters, and the overall story is good.

It was the wardrobe and furbishing I found unbearable in the beginning.

And seriously, renaming Las Vegas?
