He’s an interesting character. I laugh in the face of anyone who says dogs don’t have personalities!!! I end up with all the weird ones.

I got into an argument with someone at a party one time who said dogs don’t smile. Crazy!!!

Oh, they definitely have personalities, and I have the weird ones, too ! Your darling Fred is a little, adorable goofball, and very camera-ready - especially in those sweaters !

John & Sharon are very lucky to have seen the rare instance of the wild doggo catching their own tail !

Some others catch a ball, or a stick...

And some just wag...

Or just don't catch anything at all !

Oh yeah they do, and Gracie is kind of a sarcastic asshole. Yes, not only do dogs have personalities, but they can be sarcastic. She knows I always sit on the love seat when I'm in the living room, and there are times where I'll leave, and come back and find her in my spot, and she'll just look up at me with big ol' grin and start wagging her tail. I swear she knows exactly what she's doing, and she's doing it just to screw with me.

Pit Bulls have a bad reputation because of dogfighting, but they can actually be really good dogs. Gracie (I started to type crazy, which fits too) is part Am Staf, which is a type of Pit, but pretty much all of her bad habits actually come from her other half, which is mostly Border Collie.

Oh, I have two Pittie mixes - one with with a Jack Russell, the other with a bear, apparently, haha - and they're both sweet, lovable, gentle goofballs...

They were both evaluated extensively, though - I'd even say exhaustively - before I was allowed to adopt them, as that's the mission of the rescue. I trust them, and I feel safe.

Thanks. Gracie was the name she got the county animal control, at the time we couldn't come with anything else so we just stuck with that. After a few months, we thought of Jadzia, since we're DS9 fans and she has spots, and it would even fit her personality, but by that point she was Gracie, and we didn't want to change it.
