My stubby legged husky had an abscess in her neck and she had sugery done and they did blood work and now I have to give Her chloramphenicol, which can cause bone marrow suppression in people who have contact with the pills.
It's very scary for me.
I cleared off an area on the side of my kitchen and covered everything with aluminum foil. The vet gave me a box of gloves to be able to administer the pills to her.
The ducky part is, as with anything needing antibiotics, as we all know, they might not even work.
I sure hope that they do though.

Good luck and be careful. You "have to" give Her the medicine just as your husky would "have to" dive in the water to save you from drowning, no matter how stubby Her little legs may be.

A rather random and silly observation...
If K-9 from "Doctor Who" were "upgraded" to have a truly android (uh, "canoid"?) exterior indistinguishable from that of a real dog, he would almost certainly have to be a Corgi. If nothing else, it would lead to some freakishly cool sequences, like something from "Ghost in the Shell", the "skin" and "fur" around his ears folding like umbrellas to reveal parabolic scanners, his "nose" detaching to extend upon a telescoping rod to "analyze" objects, his jaw hyper-extending so that a beam emitter can emerge to zap things, etc.
