Hey Fred- great to see you!

Here we go again... There is talk of getting a puppy in this house. There is a pair of 10-week beagle/lab mix puppies at the local animal rescue center.

Well, do all ya'll have a new puppy or no?

No. A new kitten is more likely...

We’re empty nesters so find cats more conducive to our lifestyle but we sure do miss our dogs. Good luck and enjoy your new fur baby!

I'll have to worry about introducing a puppy to her later on when we have a more suitable place. Emma knows what it's like to live with a dog. Zoey doesn't.

I will say, I got a really good nights sleep last night! Not being a hungover, shaking mess has definitely helped me get some rest

When I bring a new dog home I have them sleep in whatever bed or whatever where they will always be sleeping from then on.
I don't, for example let them sleep on my pillow then suddenly make them sleep on the floor.

Surprised hubs didn’t let the dogs sleep in our bed they were such cute little boogers. They slept in the bathroom in a box with a towel that smelled like hubs. We tried not to hover right outside the door!
