How does your dog deal with fireworks sounds? Ours was afraid and would hide until it was over!
My dog used to be unaffected by fireworks, thunder and other loud noises. She had excellent hearing too. Generally dogs and most other mammals don't like low frequency noise and loud noises, but my dog broke so many molds, including that one.
Actually, I shouldn't really say she was unaffected because I think she would wonder why the other dogs in the neighborhood were crying, or maybe she knew why and felt superior to them because she was unafraid like the humans.

Our bulldogs hated them and stress was added by thier faulire to fit uner the couch where they would hide. I would wrap them in blankets like pigs-in-blankets and they got lots of petting but it was still awful.
Ours had to be sedated, though we think that was partly due to an accident she'd been in before we adopted her
