Awwww I’m sorry. So glad for the fur babies in your lifeWell y’all, it’s been a week. Got some family stuff going on that’s really weighing on me. Thankfully I have my little fur balls to keep me centered.

I would look into if the dog has a underlining cause for the IBD. It’s a lot like IBS in the way that it needs to be controlled by his diet. If there’s no underlying cause for the IBD, it shouldn’t be too much of a big issue. It’s usually stemming from allergies.Anyone have experience with IBD? Found a dog I'd be interested in adopting who has IBD. Isn't on medication but rather a heavily-controlled diet. Will the occasional flare up be unavoidable?
I'm glad she's okay! This is Romo, one of my two girls. Last week we were on a walk and she stuck her nose through a chain-link fence and a dog on the other side clamped onto it. It took me prying and three neighbors hitting and kicking to get the other dog off her. It was bad, but not nearly as bad as I feared initially. No stitches, and while this isn’t pretty, it sure looks a lot better than it did six days ago! No stopping Romo!

I used to work with a lot of blind and visually impaired people with service dogs. I loved when the dogs were "off duty" and I could give them belly rubs.Patiently waiting for belly rubs.
