Doggies, Doggos and Doggeroos!

Non-dog people are always scared of big dogs, but I'm actually more scared of little. I've come across a lot more mean little dogs than I have mean big dogs. I think some little dogs develop a bit of a Napolean complex.

but do dogs really have a sense of their size though?

Mum often said our Shih-tzu Maltese X though she was a big rottie because of living with our big dog.

But then after the rottweiler passed, another Shih-Maltese X came along so then would Bella still see herself a big dog or a little dog?

Or they're dogs so who the hell knows? :)

Today I saw a pit-ball (or at least it had that general build and mass) that barked more like a squeaky toy! To reach and leave the local Walmart, I would pass the local animal shelter and it was offering a 'wellness" program for pets, vaccinations, claw trimmings, "chipping", etc. HUGE collection of cars, most I've ever seen there; they were parked all along the edge of the road because the shelter needed the normal parking area. Anyway, I stopped to learn what was happening and I saw this dog built like a fireplug, and yet it produced the most "wimpy" bark I had heard for an animal its size.
