Does "Realistic" Trek Mean No 'Throbbing Brains' Allowed?

This movie is every bit as unrealistic as people accuse TOS of being. I mean it features time travelling Romulans flying in a Space Octopus! A Space Octopus! That's even more crazy than the ghost of an attorney brainwashing children into killing their parents!

I just hope they don't censor the gigantic space amoebas and Nazi planets.
