In the LotR trilogy there are multiple references to Dwarf tossing, which makes me chuckle every time, giving the alternate meaning of tossing has over here.

It also got a big laugh in the US but for an entirely different reason. Midget wrestling was once a 'thing' here.

Apparently dwarf tossing has occasionally been a real thing as well, being a pub activity dating back to at least the 1980s.
