I don't understand the point in asking other people, they don't have the same likes/dislikes as you.

They could easily dislike something that you might like, or like something that you don't.

For me, I wouldn't say it gets any better or worse. That's not to say individual moments of episodes have better scenes (or worse scenes) but overall it was fairly consistent for me at least.

"Remembrance," the series premiere, is probably my second-favorite episode. Like others have said, might just not be for you.

The original question seems to assume that there is some kind of consensus, with everyone holding the same opinion on what makes episodes "better" or not. But as this thread has shown, opinions vary greatly. Some viewers love the first three episodes, while others prefer the later episodes.

Perhaps we could help out a little more if we had some idea of what specific aspects of the first three episodes were disliked.

I'm pretty sure the first season of Picard has the highest ratings I've ever given a single season of Star Trek.

At this rate, if it gets "better", it'll dethrone Discovery as my favorite of the New Trek series. The only thing keeping DSC in the Top Spot in my view is that there are 42 episodes versus 10, and shows that started off great can always drop in quality after the first season. So I have to see the second season of Picard to get a better sense of its trajectory.

If you disliked the first three episodes for their pacing and general tone, you'll probably dislike the fourth as well, but ep. five has more spectacle and action, and the pace generally picks up from there with more action as the crew closes in on their goal. If the characters and plot haven't grabbed you by now, though, you're probably not going to like them any better by the end of the season and should probably bail now.
