Raffi and Seven both have gray hair.
Alternate timeline? Time travel?
They were waiting for the next Star Trek film to come out.
The gray hair looks more like artistic interpretation to me.
Okay, Janeway had gray hair in Endgame and Prodigy. Not sure how that's relevant to this novel cover's use of artistic license makes Seven and Raffi's hair look gray in parts.
I'm assuming it's gray for a reason (the reason being it's either an alternate timeline or a time travel story).
Otherwise, why put the gray in there at all?
You do realize there's about twenty years between Janeway's relative age in those two screencaps?
