Does anyone still play...

Does anyone still play the Star Trek: Starship Tactical Combat Simulator?

I remember playing this game when it came out in the mid 80's. My friends and I had many hours of Kirk vs. Khan, Klingon vs. Feds, and Gorn vs. everyone....lol.

I don't remember that game.

There might be folks in the Game Forum that might.

Is it still available?

If you look on ebay or a used game store you might still be able to find it. It was a table top game, that had ship recognition manuals that came out for it which had more ships or the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. Other races were Gorn and Orions. This game was pre Star Trek: TNG. :D

I still have it, don't play it...I just couldn't sort through all the rules, Mines in very good condition...and still complete...minus the dice...one of these days I should learn it for fun, but I doubt I could get my wife or friends to play me

I remember seeing all of the little model ships that you could buy in an advertisement in a TNG magazine. I wanted all of those little things...

Me too, then the galoob micro's came out That was a Glorious 2 years for my trek collecting, as I had bought a couple of the lead ships (I tried to paint one, HEH! It looked terrible) and the one I left unpainted just looked so boring. The micro's were "dream collectables" at the time. That was the only time I felt like a company heard my thought's and made the product. God I'm a dork.
