Does anyone remember when this trailer gave you a lot of hope for the movie?

    The only positive memory I have of Generations is seeing the trailer -- it was at a convention and after it finished, the crowd started chanting "again, again" like we were the Klingon courtroom translators in Star Trek VI.

    I remember that well. at the time we got some free VHS tape that had the making of Generations on it, such as showing the special effects for the saucer crash. i watched that over and over again. loved the soundtrack as well.
    there are things i like and dislike about this film but on the whole i don't think it really works as a complete film in the same way First Contact does. which also had an interesting teaser trailer
