More seriously it is a perfectly valid take on their relationship particularly given how much less demonstrative you would expect those people to be at that point.

I like that the Brig, or Colonel as he was then, isn't given an introduction. Classic Who wasn't a heavily planned series that emphasised the big moments after all. Plus for Web Of Fear you're supposed to be suspicious of him, there's no intent for him to ever be in the series again.

What makes you think that they did the deed? In fact where would they find the time or place to do the deed considering their advetures, and we never see normal life in Dr Who only their adventures. I know Amy and Rory had a room on the TARDIS but we are never privvy to anyone's life during the between times.

They are in Rome for a month before the story starts so they had time there but as I say I wasn't being entirely serious.

However I think it's perfectly valid to see them as building up a relationship during their time on the show that developed into more when they returned home.
