Doctor Who needs a Back to the Future storyline

Just watching BTTF2 on Freeview now and thinking it'd be cool if a villain tried to alter a companion's history - yes I know this was the plot of Turn Left - but the Doc and the companion were aware of it.

Companion is fraught with concern over their family who have been utterly fucked over in the new timeline (like Marty's family... his Dad murdered and his Mum married to his arch-nemesis) but the Doc is on the case... all the while trying not to run into their past selves (like Father's Day but even more so... imagine if it were Rose and Ten trying not to run into Rose and Nine...)

Steve Moffat loves time-travel as a plot point, here's hoping we see this sort of thing during his tenure.

That would be pretty funny considering Back to the Future was referenced in "The Shakespeare Code." But yes, the companion has to be kickass like Marty.

Well, to be fair, The Doctor has to be as kickass as Doctor Emmet Brown. Uness we just want to classify the Back to the Future Series as an AU Doctor Who Universe similar to the Peter Kushing movies.
