I just wish they had continued to make the spaceships. Too many action figures across the board. Ship-fans get no love.

Its an interesting idea, although at least one of those looks was never worn by The Doctor and possibly two (I'm unsure about the 7th Doctor's toy, but I saw all his stories and I don't recognize his costume here). If the 6th was wearing his actual clothes and the 7th his more normal attire it would be a pretty cool set.

While he never wore the blue outfit on the show, the 6th Doctor did officially wear it in the context of the audio story "Reel Time".
As for the 7th Doctor, that's his outfit from "Ghost Light".

Yeah, I forgot about Ghost Light (more like repressed it actually, since I really dislike that story). As for the Blue Costume, I don't want to get into it because I could rant about it for hours, but I only consider stuff seen on TV as "official", and The Sixth Doctor never wore that suit on TV.

It seems the amount of figures have been toned down in the last few years, but maybe that's a good thing, as some of them were getting a bit silly and like the Star Wars series trying to make a figure of every single character that appeared on screen...such as Cassandra's frame, the faceless granny etc. Then again it would've been nice to have some non-Dalek monsters, such as the redesigned Cybermen and Zygons in the 6 inch scale, as well as the Paternoster gang. We've been mainly getting variants of the Doctors, Clara, and Missy and that's pretty much it. Although we haven't had the Doctor with the sunglasses, more frizzy hair and guitar yet, and you'd figure we'd at least get a figure of Ashildr/Me.

As for McCoy he did have that brown coat throughout his final season, although I think Ghost Light is the story where he kept his hat off most of the time (and also led to a great publicity shot of him that sort of stresses the slight weariness he had from that season).

I don't know if sales are slowing down. Things seemed like they were booming during Tennant's era.

The Smith era introduced ball jointed arms for more range of motion in figures but then died down after series 6.

Can anybody who knows more then me about this stuff tell me if this belt buckle with the DW Logo on it is a licensed product? It smells "unlicensed" to me because the articles text doesn`t mention DW at all...its just "Fashionable Letter And Gloriette Shape Embellished": http://www.rosewholesale.com/cheapest/stylish-letter-and-gloriette-shape-1039861.html?seid=5308865rw1039861

It doesn't say Doctor Who and with that price the safe bet is that it's unlicensed.

It looks similar to the licensed ones though:

Just got the new sonic - they seem to have finally realised not to position the speaker right where the typical user would hold the handle, thus muting the sound. But only two sound effects on this one (as far as I can tell) due to the switch being push-up-or-down rather than press (on the previous models, the number of presses in quick succession activated a range of different sounds).

I still prefer my result from the "mix 'n' match" sonic components set. That was a work of genius from the marketing boys n girls.

I bought it also. Actually it has 4 different sound and light effects. Try to push it twice quickly upwards for the third effect and push it twice quickly downwards for the fourth.
