Doctor Who Avatar Contest - "Funniest Moments"

wanted to do a 2-frame animated one for this, but can't work out how in Gimp...
Use the layer function.

Open a new window with the dimensions of the frames you wish to use. From that dialog box, go to Open as a Layer and select all of the images you wish to use and open.
Then from the main dialog box, go to File > Dialog > Layers. In the Layers box, arrange the frames in the order you wish (and delete the white frame if you don't want it).
Double click on each title and add (1000ms) or whatever time you want in between frames. You can preview the animation by going to (from the image box) Filters > Animation > Playback...
When you save the image (it has to have a .gif extension), save it as animation and adjust the time between frames again.

i keep changing the animation rate, but it's still epilepsy-inducingly fast...
damn, now it's too slow...
but when i did 'playback' it was switching like very 2 milliseconds...

Have you seen The Hand of Fear. Through out the whole serial, the phrase "Eldrad Must Live!" is stated or shouted either by people possessed by Eldrad or by Eldrad. I always found it rather amusing.

Boy, can I pick the contests. 
Okay, you don't have to have the "funniest" moment, how about any old funny moment. The Doctor's done plenty of gurning over the years, how about an av of the Doc pulling a funny face? A funny costume or alien? Or perhaps, you could show a moment that the Doc or his companions find funny... show the Doc or another character laughing or smiling.

^can't possibly do better than that, but here's my lame little attempt.

Honestly, I don't have the skills or software to make animated anythings. Plus, all the pics I have of the Doctor, and I cannot find/think of a good "funny" moment in Who. There are plenty, to be certain. But, for me, Who has always be verbally hilarious. If I had the ability and skills I would try and find some way of making the three-shot from Partners in Crime when Donna first sees Tennant...cut to Tennant, first seeing Donna...cut back to Donna with her mouth wide open. That was pretty damn funny!

I use GIMP (with the instructions I gave captcalhoun up thread). It's not the most intuitive or sophisticated software, but it gets the job done for what I want.
