Im scared that there will be no more enterprise and voyager books, because they will want to do star trek 11 books.

Did the huge popularity of TNG kill off TOS books? Did TOS movies kill off TOS 5YM stories?
That's IMO not quite a valid comparison, because right then there was no diversity in Trek-books. You basically had 2-3 (TOS 5YM, TOS MOV, TNG) series to write for while now there are a lot more - and it's more possible for one to be left aside. (But I agree, it will surely not be one of the TV-series, if any.)

I'm not scared. I'm not even mildly concerned. If the Star Trek movie doesn't do as well at the box office as it's expected to do, that could be the end of the Abramsverse. If it does phenomenally well, then, as Thrawn suggests, the producers may want to limit what the books do with that continuity.
I doubt Abramsverse novels would outsell other Trek novels by an order of magnitude, not least because, as people have pointed out here, the only difference between such hypothetical books and the average TOS novel is the actors portrayed on the covers. They wouldn't be something wildly new and different from what we already have.
There are books under contract through to a year after the movie comes out. Those contracts aren't going to be abrogated.

Do you mean aside from A Singular Destiny, which just came out, which features both prominently? There are books under contract through to a year after the movie comes out. Those contracts aren't going to be abrogated.
Would any of those "books under contract" be starring Klag or Nan Bacco or even both in some way?

Yes. That is what I meant when I asked if one of the "books under contract" featured Klag and Nan Bacco.![]()

Wouldn't want you to miss out on something you wanted already being published.
