Do you think Majel Barrett will have a cameo in the movie?

While reading the Number One thread, I considered jokingly suggest Majel Barrett should return as Number One, when I thought of the idea of Barrett making a cameo appearance in some other form. I know some people can't stand her (or just Lwaxana), but I think having Barrett make a cameo appearance would be a wonderful touch.

I wouldn't be surprised if she does, myself.

Even as merely the Computer Voice.

I'm doubtful that she'll be in the movie, but it'll be cool if she plays the computer.

Yes, that would be awesome, if she could contribute somehow. Did the original Enterprise even have a computer voice?

^^Yes-the original 1701 had a computer voice...and it was played by Majel!

Majel should definitely do the computer voice. Although I would not care one bit if she didn't use the monotone she had in the original series (plus the rat-a-tat-tat typewriter sound every time she spoke).

Yeah I don't expect to see her on-camera, but having her do the computer voice would be a natural.

I'd hope they'd alter her voice slightly in post... clean it up a bit... the computer was sounding positively matronly by the end of Voyager.
