Do you think Looney Tunes is still funny?

Looney Tunes will always be funny. Knighty Knight Bugs is a favorite of mine with the Dragon acting more like a dog. Sir Osis of Liver and Sir Loin of Beef, crack me up.

And of course, Bully for Bugs. The smile the Bull makes when he realizes he can fire bullets through his horns is priceless.

They just don't make stuff like this anymore. The pale imitations (using the same characters!) are downright blasphemous.
The last really creative cartoon series I saw was the Animaniacs.

^LOVE Animaniacs. I think its success was largely because it paid tribute to the Termite Terrace days while still being 100% its own entity.

It was a rather urbane hoity-toidy accent: "Wile E. Coyote, SOOper GEEnius." Only in a couple of Bugs Cartoons, though, never in a Road Runner cartoon. And he also spoke in the sheepdog cartoons, but with a basic American accent.
Well, in the sheepdog ones, he's not a coyote, he's a wolf. Different character, similar appearance.

I like some parts of Animainics (the warner siblings, Slappy, Pinky and the Brain), disliked others (the singing cat and the repetatitive Goodfeathers schtick). I often find myself thinking "Helloooo, nurse!" when I see an attractive woman.

A cheerful and sardonic "G'night everybody!" at the appropriate moment is now part of my lexicon. :)
