we're lucky we only have a little garden so it dont take long to cut the grass. usally me and my partner take it in turns though i do most of the cutting as she's not learnt yet that the little orange bit of cable dose actually do something and not to run the thing over.
Well, if that's the game we're playing...I live in a flat, but we have extensive grounds that require maintenance, including mowing lawns and other gardening work. The money comes out of the service charge, so for purposes of the poll I ticked that I pay someone to do it. It's indirectly true, anyway.
Sure, I pay some little Mexicans to maintain the landscape of my apartment complex. It's included in my rent.

I mow the lawn. Most of the time I use the John Deere; sometimes I use the push mower.
Wow, we've still got a couple of months before we have to do that. Today I did give it a good blow. Blew as much of the winter road sand back onto the road as I could. Lots of people burning branches from the Dec ice storm and the air was full of the sounds of chainsaws near and far.
I have to mow the back lawn while my brother mows the front lawn. I absolutely hate the back lawn because there are trees that make it harder to do.

I too hate yard work. Heck I still got leaves in my backyard from last fall. I cut my own grass, but I cut it as low as possible in order to keep it from growing. In the summer I cut my grass so low and refuse to water it that I can sometimes go two weeks in between mowing.
Whoo Hooo! Back lawn mowed...small patch left for the butterflies I saw when I took a break.
Hopefully I can go a couple of weeks at elast before I have to scalp it again!
