Do you mow your lawn?

This is a job I hate doing. Luckily I have a son who does it instead of me.

So a poll to find out if you mow your lawn

I live in an apartment in Brooklyn -- no lawn! I wish I had a little garden, though. I'd grow vegetables and herbs. It'd be relaxing. I'm going to try to persuade my landlord to let me make a small garden on the roof.

I do it, but I'll probably hire someone to do it soon enough. Right now I'm being too frugal.

I bought a townhome specifically so I wouldn't need to mow or shovel snow. Technically I pay someone to do it even though my monthly Association fee.

Yep, I mow the lawn. Usually have to do it about every 3 days based on the the fact our summers are seeing more rain than they used to.

One advantage to a small yard is that I can use one of the battery pack lawnmowers, and only need to charge it about every 3rd or 4th mow of the lawn after 2 years of using it. Don't see why I'd use anything else in the future unless they stop making them or replacement batteries for the one I have...

While, I don't have a lawn currently, I do enjoying mowing, so I will probably make a point to mow my Grandma's lawn for her a few times this spring/summer.

Mowing the lawn is a great time to be alone and think. With just over an acre to mow and a riding lawnmower with which to do it I'm all set.

I be the one. I prefer it to dishes, anyway. Down here we have a push-mower, but up in Michigan our yard is big enough (2.11 acres) to need and have a riding mower, which I prefer.

I'm not sure why, but I've had an irrational fear of lawnmowers since I was a kid. I not only pay someone else to mow my lawn, but I make damned sure I'm nowhere near when they do it.

My hubby mows the lawn----every once in awhile.

As big a klutz as I am, he won't let me near the lawnmower.

No lawn, I live in an apartment. I mowed my parent's lawn when I was a kid, though! And boy... I hated it. We had trees all over the back yard, and it was very hilly.

I used to mow the lawn when I still lived with parents. My dad and I probably did it an even amount of time.

I have an apartment now, so no lawn. I miss having a yard. It gave me an excuse to do stuff outside in the summertime.

I used to hate mowing the lawn, mostly because I used an electric mower and I kept tripping over the cord.

Now I have a rechargeable mower. No cord.
