Say you're visiting a relative, a friend, or just at an acquaintance's house. You go into their bathroom and there over the sink you see their medicine cabinet. It sitting there, hanging on the wall, maybe the door on it is ajar, maybe it's closed, but it's there. Inside could hold secrets. Secrets untold.

What kind of toothpaste do they use? Generic or name-brand Tylenol? What presciption drugs do they have in there? What kind of condoms do they prefer?

So on.

Me, honestly, I've looked in friend's medicine cabinets, in the cabinet under the sink, hell even in the linen closet. It's dirty, it's wrong, but it's human nature to be curious.

Never really cared what was in people's medicine cabinets but I do look at the sink counters and atop the toilet tank to see what they might be reading.

No, but if people leave them out in the open (my friend keeps them on her kitchen counter, and a coworker left hers on the desk at work) I prolly would not avert my eyes. I am curious by nature.

Ofcourse, since im not a medic, the pills etc mean nothing to me.

ETA: Come to think of it, most people I know keep their medication in the kitchen, so their wouldn't be any use going through the cabinet in the bathroom.

Snooping is absolutely disrespectful and intrusive. Curiosity of that kind is unhealthy in my opinion. If someone has trusted me with their stuff, I'm not going to mess with it. I don't think it would cross my mind to begin with. If I found out friends/family snooped for example, it would make me go ballistic. It's not something I could happily tolerate.
