What do you think? I found them nearly as interesting as the Occupation Arc... just excellent. Resurrection sucked, but I don't count that one.

I would have liked them to do a few more episodes, like about what happened after they captured Regent Worf.

I like the first three more than the others. Resurrection was too bland and forgettable to suck. TENC was essentially an unintentional parody of the MU episodes. It was not too bland or forgettable to suck. It sucked. Badly.

Should've stopped after the second one.

What was with Sisko sleeping with Mirror Kira and Jadzia? Wouldn't that be awkward when he got home.

And the copy of the Defiant was a bit much.

Missed opportunity to see what MU Romulans were like.

They were a pleasant enough diversion I suppose.

Resurrection and The Emperor's New Cloak were okay, but I felt like they (unintentionally) slowed down the overall pace of the War Arc at the time. Gotta love the early ones for mirror Bashir's attitude :p

To be honest... no. Trying to shoehorn the MU into the DS9 setting was a bad idea. Destroying the Empire, but setting up a Klingon Bajoran alliance? WTF? That reeks of "we need to use the sets, so lets justify it." If they had really wanted to show us the MU, we'd have seen Sisko on the bridge of an Imperial ship.

The first one was great, the second and third ones were good, the fourth one was dull and the final one was an embarrassment.

That about sums it up.

However...I may be the only one, but I REALLY liked the MU Ferengi. They just came off as interesting--I found myself wanting to know what had made them so different (i.e. less bumbling and more interested in looking out for others).

Agreed, I enjoyed them, it gave Kira a chance to play a bad gal. It was probably fun for the other actors also, a change of character can be a good thing...

Wasn't so fun for Andrew Robinson, I don't think. I recall reading he was quite displeased with the insipidness of Mirror Garak.

I liked the first three, with the third (when the Defiant goes all crazy on that Klingon ship) being the best ending to it all..

The other two were just not good and should not have been made...

Not the DS9 mirror universe episodes. The only one I kind of liked was when they used Jake to lure Sisko back.

I loved the first DS9 Mirror Universe episode, but hated all further DS9 Mirror episodes.

I have gone back and watched the original TOS episode, and found it quite enjoyable.

I have heard everyone say the Enterprise Mirror Universe was excellent, but I haven't seen it.

Sadly, I'd have to say they were the best two episodes of the whole series. They were awesome, though, so maybe that isn't as insulting to the rest of the series as it sounds.

"Crossover" was pretty decent, but I'm less fond of the other ones. While the idea of the Terran Empire no longer being around based on the possibility of revolt mentioned in "Mirror, Mirror" is interesting, I'm not convinced it was the best choice. At best, I think they might have introduced an Empire that was crumbling and fighting to survive, far less powerful than it was in MM. And our normal characters would have to choose between the lesser of two evils to get themselves home.

Crossover was really good, Through The Looking Glass was almost as good, and Shattered Mirror was good closure. The other two episodes were pants. Resurrection was dull - why have Kira hook up with someone who looks like someone she dated a few years ago? Emporer's New Cloak was pretty terrible - a Ferengi/Mirror Universe episode! *shudder*

I feel the same way. When I saw the thread title, my first reaction was: "They got progressively worse."
