Do you know your join date here at TBBS?

22 December, 2001.

Though this isn't my original account. I originally joined back in late 1999, but I barely used it over the next two years and I forgot I was already a member here when I created this account.

I'm not exactly sure, but I remember that Enterprise didn't even have a title yet - it was "Series VI". Actually, I think I was here when that forum was created. Which would make it what... 1999, some time? (How long as the board been around, anyway? Apologies if someone already asked and answered that - I'm only skimming tonight, because it's been at least a week since I was last able to log on and there's too much to read before bedtime.)

Damn, I'm old. :(

There's only so much Star Trek to talk about, and once you've been here for a while, you start to see the exact same topics coming up over and over again by newbies.

It's probably different for the fanficcers and artists, though. At least it seems to be, by my observation. Probably because we generate "new" material, and other weird stuff. ;)

I know the feeling. :D

April-ish 1999 was when it started. Did you post under a different name at first, or lurk a while before registering? I can't remember a time when you haven't been here, but your poster account number is around 1400, which (approximately taking deletions into account) probably places your reg date around 2000/2001 rather than the 2002 date in your profile. 2000 would also sync up with ENT not being officially announced yet.

Had to go look.

August of 2003. I've been around 7 1/2 years and have now officially outlived any single Star Trek television series.

July 31, 2001. Babylon 5 actually lured me here as a lurker a good while before that. Something Neroon posted yanked me out from under my rock and I joined the madness. Been fun.

I don't remember exactly, but I first joined TrekBBS some time in early 2001, under a different username.

I was definitely here in March of that year: I remember discussing the VOY episode "Human Error".

So, ten years ago.

My current incarnation dates back to 20 August 2003. I had left for a while, some time before that, and then re-registered.

This is true, and possibly why I get so excited for JJ's new movies.

RAMA

August 17, 2001. So 9 1/2 years. And that is only the date I officially joined. I lurked at this board for a long while before actually joining - back in 2001, is was actually a much wilder (and more hostile, in some ways) place.

Incredible I've been here that long.
