Do you have a pet?

I have a pug named Pippin. She is called Pippin because the guy I got her from sounded *exactly* like Pippin from the LOTR movies. "Hey you," and "hey buddy" and "hey girl" just wasn't working after about 2 weeks while I tried to think up a different name, so I just said to hell with it and started calling her Pippin.

I had two miniature schnauzers once, but ended up getting rid of both of them. One was stupid and the other one I didnt want to take to Germany with me when I was stationed there.

Sometime within the next 3-4 years I want to buy a Doberman Pinscher. I've always loved those dogs.

I have two cats and two dogs. One cat constantly meows for food. The other one destroys our house. And our two dogs are little monsters as well. Our cat who constantly meows for food used to weigh about 27 lbs and did absolutely nothing. Now he gets into everything.

I don't have a pet, nor do I want one.

Not that I enjoy living without companionship, but in the end, I just don't think I can care for a pet. I couldn't handle the responsibility.

Besides, I'm at work for ~9 hours a day. Why should I leave a pet alone in my house - which, BTW, is almost certainly too small anyway - for that long? (If I put a pet out in the backyard, it will escape.)

I've got a chocolate Lab puppy named Rupert I bought for my wife last year, and a 7 year old cat named Tuffy she adopted from someone back when she lived alone. His other name is 'fat and orange'.

The budgies are adorable, Tachy. My parents had those when I was a little girl, quite a few in a large glass house, and the singing and talking was always beautiful to me.

Sorry to hear about Squeak and Speedy. Sounds like they lived a good long life.

I have two dogs and two cats...no trek names though...they make life more fun.

Actually he's a very patient and lovable cat. That was probably the 10th picture I took because it was first thing in the morning and the coffee hadn't kicked in yet.

Although he'll tell you if it's time for a treat. And if you're not listening he'll give you a headbutt.
