Do you have a favourite Star Trek book?

Since this is posted in the TOS section, I guess the OP meant TOS-related books. Of those In the Name of Honor by Dayton Ward is my favorite.

Btw if anybody is interested there is a favorite ST Book thread and a least favorite Trek Book thread running in the TrekLit section.

My favorite would have to be the Crucible Trilogy by David R. George III. Fantastic books. I enjoyed all three of them immensely.

Spock, Messiah.

I never realised for quite some time how universally reviled it actually is. For me it was a cheap purchase in a bus station, so I can't say I wasted the time spent on the bus reading it

My two favorites are unquestionably "The Ashes of Eden" and "Federation," both by Judy and Gar Reeves-Stevens (and some guy named Shatner helped with "Ashes" ). Those two books are lightyears ahead of any other Trek book I've yet read (though there are many I haven't read yet), and they both reminded me just why I love Star Trek so much.
