Do you have a "5 year plan"?

The whole point of imperial government is to create nonsensical arbitrary rules. You use our units too, don't you, you should know this!

Hrm... So who could I contact in the British government to get them to change the islands' timezone?

Once they abandon it, there will be a timezone with no residents. My plan is to take control of it and sue Bill Gates for including GMT - 2 in his operating system. I'll also demand a couple billion from the UN or I'll make my timezone 57 minutes and 32 seconds long, requiring the replacement of all clocks in the entire world!

Oh, so you'll be part of the British military.

In his case, it's Royal Dutch. Not British.

What would it take to convince your government to switch South Georgia and the South Sandwhich islands to GMT - 3 ?

Holdfast is correct. But it's mainly to confuse any Argentinian invaders. ;)

If I ever become a sailor, I'm sailing to the Whisky Time Zone. :D

No, I'm not big on making plans. Although I do plan to be retired before I'm 60, so that I can go and do whatever unplanned things I want.

I make long-range plans, but w/ the understanding that life, the universe and/or God may have other ideas.

Current 5-year plan: retire.

Yes. After five years are up, I'll have paid off my loan to the bank and for the first time in my (by then) 35 years on the planet, I'll have spare change to do things like buy my own TV, a bike with 18 out all 18 gears functioning, shoes that I don't divide into for winter and for summer depending on how many holes there are in the soles, and many other tremendously exciting things.

I'm really hoping to save for the deposit for a house I can die in.

Oh right...and I would have paid off my car payments by then. However I'll have new expenses by then :(

For the next five years, I plan to explore strange, new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go...well, you know the rest.

Not a very specific plan. I have goals that I would like achieved within that time period. However, I always want to remain open to God's leading. Right now, finish my bachelors degree. Go to seminary and/or train with pastors to become a (formal) preacher. Just do whatever ministry the Lord calls me to.

No. making plans are the fastest way I know of to ensure pain, misery and grief.

My plan is to fight these til my dying day.

Mine is to explore strange new worlds, seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations, to boldly go, where no man has gone before.
