Rewatched Titanic for the first time in years a couple of months ago, and still love it, for three hours it's actually very well paced, and yeah a mite cheesy in places but I forgive it that (dear lord though if he'd left some of the deleted scenes in it really could have been a disaster movie!) but for someone who's always been interested by the Titanic story I thought it had the grand epic feel the ship and her crew and passengers deserved. It was larger than life, but the whole Titanic story is larger than life.
If only Avatar had been anywhere near as good.
