Diva tendencies...

When it comes to the husband and I, I *must* have control of the TV box. No, my shows aren't any better than he watches, but they're my junky choices.

So yeah, TV box diva. Or perhaps, just a selfish bitch. :p

My mum is like this.
I dont mind her having control of the tv at certain times but l hate it when she contantly flicks the channels.
I see something l like and it is flicked off very fast smiles

I lock my car at all times, even when it's in the garage.

I watched a documentary which showed that every hotel they tested has sperm every where, including on the carpet, walls, cushions, headboards, and even any bibles in the room.

That sounds suspiciously like an urban legend.

^ Yeah, I'm calling BS on it as well. Even if the documentary is real, it's not conclusive. It's not like they tested every hotel chain in the world. It'd be like sampling the air in Los Angeles and concluding that the entire world is covered with smog.

Since hotels are used for exactly that purpose a lot of the time, it's not surprising at all when you think about it. I draw the line at the bible though.

Time to dust this one off again?:

Actually, "quickly" isn't necessarily more correct than "fast." "Fast" is both an adjective and an adverb. Whichever word you use, though, the sign is still redundant!

. . . Ever since I watched a documentary which showed that every hotel they tested has sperm every where, including on the carpet, walls, cushions, headboards, and even any bibles in the room.
Yeah, I'm a bit skeptical about that as well. What the fuck did they use to find all that jizz, Luminol? I mean, a holodeck I can understand, but a hotel room?

I need a little chill when I sleep, I am always opening windows to let some cool air in and others close them and then I re-open them its an on going war . I hate being too warm at night.

I also have to have music playing when I sleep (usually New Age ambient music, like Liquid Mind). I lay awake nervous if there's total silence, because I'm waiting for some other noise to come up.

I have only a few "diva" tendencies. Actually most things don't bother me but there are some things that put me right over the edge.

1) I refuse to use a public restroom unless it is an emergency. I prefer to use only my own bathroom.

2)You must be kind to people in the service industry or customer service or I will embarrass you for sport. (I almost ended up in a fist fight in the bank once for trying to force a man to apologize for being a jackass to a teller.) Now if the person deserves it...

Really, the only thing I diva out on is that I must have someone's full attention when we are doing a transaction. Like, if I am ordering food or paying for something at the cash register, the cashier had better not be checking his/her texts, talking on a cell, or having a conversation with the colleague next to him/her. I've been known to say, "I'll wait until you're done." I know it's obnoxious, but I can't help myself.
Preach it.

3) If someone in customer service is rude or unprofessional I will go all crazy ghetto on their ass. I usually interrupt them mid-sentence with, "Manager... NOW." Of course the manager runs over wanting to know what the problem is and I tell them (with a smile) that I thought little Tiffany or Jason needed a break to finish their conversation or phone call. Embarrassing? Yes. Does it get results? Every time.

4) Cruelty animals, children or people who can't defend themselves will meet furious angry and vengeance. I will fight to the death over this one.

5) Don't ever correct my grammar. I find that behavior to be extremely rude and demeaning. In fact, I would rather you spit in my face.

I know I am a little high maintenance (and people hate eating out with me) but in the end I am worth it. :bolian:

i know that the old motel is used for this purpose but it is also used to get a goodnights sleep if you are traveling long distance.
But the thought of someone doing this all over the place makes me feel abit sick.

Going to sleep to sound? Blasphemy! I need silence to fall asleep, though rain is tolerable.

I need some metal/industrial/gothic music so I can sleep.

NIN, Type O Negative, along those line. Silence bothers me.

Count me as another one who prefers their own bathroom. Takes me time to get ready to go out, I don't leave the house less than perfect. Only one girl can cut my hair to my satisfaction. She does an excellent job, she's the best.

I could go on, but I'll save you all.
