So what's your opinion on Gunn's tweets? Are they not in and of themselves hurtful? If you didn't know his ideological affiliation, would you be celebrating?

He shouldn't have made them. But he has long since apologized because he actually learned it was wrong and has changed. That's the difference, not that you care. When he learned he was wrong he did change. He didn't blame someone else and refuse to change or make some fake apology. He did the right thing, then years later people who were far worse tried to use it against them purely because Gunn was speaking out against bigotry and as bigots they didn't like that. So yes I'm celebrating because the bigots lost, the people who don't should really reevaluate why they're siding with bigots. Especially ones with a history of defending their own offensive comments.
