Somehow I don't think so. Nice try though!Personally I wonder if Janeway coming back as a Zombie might be a good compromise.

*shrug* So, call me pathetic. I just like my wheat without so much chaff in it.I'd just like to take this opportunity to mention that TrekBBS does have an ignore function, by which a user, once deciding that another user is never, ever going to say anything of any interest or wit, may add that person's name to a list, and never see that person's posts again. It's quite a lovely feature.![]()
It's also considered pretty pathetic to use it.![]()

What about killing Chakotay and bringing him back as a Zombie?

Well, we kicked Dayton3 out and y'all didn't, so....It's also considered pretty pathetic to use it.(There was a discussion about this either in Misc. or in TNZ recently.)
Is this the same TNZ that thinks this place is too scary?![]()
A strawman is when one person misrepresents their opponent's view into something that superficially resembles it, but is much easier to refute. It deflects the arguer from refuting their opponent's actual argument.Off topic- whats a strawman? Is it supposed to be flimsy or...? I'm not familiar with that expression.

I certainly don't. I completely agree with you and I thought he was hot!I like Chakotay. (I don't like so much what the writers did - or didn't do, really - with his character, but I did like him.
You wanna make something of it?![]()
Yeah. But I really was disappointed with his character. I stated in another post that I thought his character had so much potential in Caretaker. I couldn't wait to see what the writers had in store for him, but I was very disappointed. I didn't hate him but I really thought he could have been so much more. That, too. Naturally. It wouldn't have been enough to salvage a hopeless character, but as it was...Hey, may as well enjoy the view, right?

Why would it be considered pathetic? Because a life lived without exposure to tiresome jerks and single issue write-only trolls is not worth living?
I've got a dozen names in my ignore list, and it makes me happy every time certain people pop up in a discussion and all I see is "This message is hidden because User Name Here is on your ignore list." I also expect I'm on some people's ignore lists, and that's fine.
