The Guardian| James Bond director Guy Hamilton dies aged 93

He directed four Bond movies, "Goldfinger", "Diamonds are Forever", "Live and Let Die" and "The Man with the Golden Gun". He passed earlier today in his house on Majorca.

This is a shame but after recent losses of people a lot younger it can at least be said he had a good innings and he leaves behind some great films.

Spookily the last Bond film I re-watched was Diamonds are Forever just a few weeks ago.
