Yes, I knew who she was prior to "Star Trek: Voyager" from the 80's classics(?) Throw Mama from the Train and Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.

No, I hadn't seen any of the cast in anything else before. Then again I was only 13 when the show started.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was agreeing with you because I also thought that Caprica_Six was older.

OTOH, Exodus if I had to guess your age I probably would have put you around the late 30's to 40 range (which is how old you said you are).

I knew McNeill from his appearance in TNG: "The First Duty," but didn't know any of the others. I didn't notice Tim Russ in Generations until I picked up the movie on VHS a year later. And I didn't know Ethan Phillips had been on Benson until about a year ago, when TV Land was running an all-weekend Benson marathon. I remembered Rene Auberjonois being on the show, but not Ethan.

They ran that marathon and never showed it again.

From my understanding, it was Rene that helped Ethan get his part on Voyager.

I thought Benson had ended up in a late night/early morning timeslot after the marathon, but it's certainly not there anymore. It's not even listed on the TVLand website. Maybe they'll bring it out again for the election this fall.

cardinal_biggles, I forgot that I also knew McNeill from First Duty. Of course Tim Russ was in Generations and also a TNG episode (Starship Mine), but I didn't remember that he was on either. The characters that he played didn't stick out as much as Nicholas Locarno.

I didn't recognise her from anything when I saw the first episode, although I do remember thinking she had a really distinctive voice and wondering who she was. I don't think that I knew any of the cast tbh.

Recognised her from various tv shows (thank you BBC afternoon programmes) and also spent the first season going "hmmmm, it is like Katharine Hepburn is on Star Trek"
