Not really no. What you mean to say is that other species than chickens lay eggs. That's not what the paradox is about.
It's not a philosophical question it's a paradox. And you din't solve it, you just didn't get it.
I get it. You just disagree with me. Chickens didn't just spring up magically overnight. By the time chickens evolved into what we would consider a modern chicken, they were already laying eggs.
I can't decide if Sisko should be the egg or the chicken. Probably the chicken, seeing as Picard's head looks vaguely egg-shaped from certain angles.
For Sisko, that whole episode was about how, as humans, we exist in moments and how we force others to exist in those moments within our own minds. So here, Picard represents so much more than Locutus. If Sisko hadn't been in Starfleet, he wouldn't have lost his wife and almost lost his son in that moment. So in his emotional state, in his existence, Sisko blamed the Borg and Starfleet, specifically Starfleet leadership, for his wife's death. Picard represented all of that to Sisko. With the handshake at the end of the episode, it was clear Sisko had a realization about existence and he decided his existence would no longer be in those painful moments in time, and he would no longer force others (Picard as Starfleet/Picard as Locutus) to exist in those moments. It was more than forgiveness - it was a change of mindset so he could survive.

I'm sure Picard was to an extent vindicated in Sisko's eyes after the Battle of Sector 001 in 2373.

Edit: You mean the second battle of sector 001 not the one they won because PICARD told Data to put the ship to sleep, which Sisko completely ignored and yet must have been common knowledge.
Horizons means the Battle of Sector 001 that occurred at the beginning of First Contact. When was there more than one conflict called the Battle of Sector 001?
The Defiant was not involved when Picard told the Borg ship to sleep, because the Defiant didn't exist yet. The battle in Star Trek: First Contact is what is being discussed here.

The "sleep" trick worked for Data because they had enough time to make it work. Most of the other battles against the Borg have been done rapid-fire, heat of the moment, with no time to attempt a hack into the Borg systems.
And none of those other battles involved Data, either. He can do things others can't. He had the advantage of a direct neural link with the Borg (via Locutus), which nobody (and nothing) else could do.
